Around 4:30 am, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel, ensuring you're back in time for breakfast. Pigeon Valley & Uçhisar Castle: After the balloon ride, set off on a hike through Pigeon Valley, known for its narrow canyon walls. Paşabağı: Return to Göreme and visit Paşabağı, home to some of Cappadocia's most striking fairy chimneys and mushroom-shaped formations. Although it's a popular stop for tour buses, you can explore the entire area in just 30 minutes, making it a valuable addition to your Cappadocia itinerary.
Day 3: The Valleys & Churches of Göreme

Red & Rose Valley: Rise early again to embark on a hike through the Red and Rose Valleys, all while hot air balloons drift gracefully above. These valleys offer multiple viewpoints with vistas of rippling red, rose, and white rock formations. However, be prepared for the challenge of finding and following the trailheads despite numerous signs.
Göreme Open Air Museum: In the late afternoon, drive to the Göreme Open Air Museum. This outdoor museum encompasses several well-preserved frescoed churches, with three of them included in the entrance fee. For an additional charge, you can explore Karanik Kilise, which is highly recommended.

Tractors share the streets with a few tourist shops, cafes, and hotels, creating an intriguing blend of old and new.
Cemil: Continue your journey to Cemil, a village seemingly frozen in time, devoid of tourism's influence. The town clings to the valley's side, with chickens and cows often seen along the roads. While a cup of tea may be hard to find, Cemil's photogenic scenery makes it a worthwhile stop. Cemil is located another 10 minutes beyond Mustafapaşa.
Soğanlı: Approximately an hour's drive from Göreme lies Soğanlı, a town inhabited since Roman times and a significant center for Byzantine Christianity.
